Twitter Ticketed Spaces is now available for iOS users. It’s a way for creators to make money from the Spaces – live audio rooms — they host by charging a fee. Ticketed Spaces was first announced in June when it opened applications for users who wished to try out the feature. Now it appears that a wider rollout is on the way. Twitter says that it plans to make it available to all users soon. Until the creators achieve a particular milestone, they are paid up to 97 per cent of the revenue generated from tickets purchased to their Ticketed Spaces.

Twitter Brings Ticketed Spaces On iOS
Ticketed Spaces is now open for iOS users, as per Twitter’s official Spaces handle. This will let eligible users profit from the Spaces they manage. Creators can charge anywhere from $1 (approx Rs. 74) to $999 (ROUND Rs. 73,500) for their Space, with up to 97 per cent going to the artist and the rest three per cent going to Twitter. However, if the artist has earned $50,000 (approximately Rs. 36.74 lakhs) in lifetime profits from the Ticketed Spaces and Super Follows, they would be able to keep up to 80% of in-app purchases after platform costs.

Ticketed Spaces allow creators to invite within 5 to 100 people, who will be notified via push and in-app notifications when a new Space is started. Twitter states in its post that it is currently “experimenting” with iOS only, indicating that not all iOS users will have access to Ticketed Spaces. It’s also unclear when the feature will be available to Android users.
