Korean giant Samsung has been working on their next mid-range 5G offering, Samsung Galaxy M23 for some time now. It had been spotted earlier in several certification sites and there had been leaks regarding its features and specs. Recent listing on the Google Play Console has given us a hint regarding what we can expect from the phone when it makes its way to the marker.
The A-series by Samsung have been a great success and new models are in development. This phone is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy M22, which has been a great success in the Indian market. Though exact launch date is yet known, let us look at the key specs it would most likely offer.

Samsung Galaxy M23 Key Specs
With model number SM-M236B/DS, the Galaxy M23 phone has been approved by the FCC and is powered by a battery with model number EB-BM526ABS. This phone would feature an FHD+ resolution display (1080 × 2408 pixels) with a pixel density of 450ppi.

This phone would have a Qualcomm SM7225 chipset, the code name for Snapdragon 750G processor. The integrated X52 model would enable 5G communications, which is one of the biggest highlights of this phone. The SoC would be equipped with 2 × Kryo 560 cores and 6 × Kryo 560 cores and the graphics would be supported by the Adreno 619 GPU.
The previous Geekbench listing showed that the Samsung Galaxy M23 smartphone will boot Android 12 OS and would likely have the OneUI 4.0 custom skin on top. It will come with 6GB RAM, but the internal storage capacity has not been confirmed. It would, in most probability, be able to support 25W fast charging.

Without official confirmations, we can only speculate the probable price of the phone. In the Indian market, the phone could have a retail price of INR 14,999. We can expect two color variants of the Galaxy M23 – light blue and green and it is rumored to be one of Europe’s most affordable 5G enabled smartphones.
