RedmiBook India first teaser surfaced on Tuesday, July 20. However, until now, there was no confirmation on its launch date. But it looks like the company has finally announced its plan to brings its own laptop to the market soon. Redmi, the Xiaomi sub-brand has officially announced the launch date as August 3, 2021, during an online event. Although Xiaomi entered the laptop segment first with the launch of the Mi Notebook range. It looks like Redmi is also ready to make a mark on the market with RedmiBook.
We don’t know a whole lot about what the RedmiBook will have in store for us. However, as per the teaser, it will get thick bezels around the display and a vintage design. On the chin, a Redmi branding can also be seen. Although China already has many of these models, it is unsure which model will make its debut in the Indian market. Moreover, the teaser does not reveal much information in terms of its specifications as of now.

RedmiBook launch: What to expect?
As mentioned above, it could be similar to the Redmi Book Pro variants that launched in China earlier. They come in both AMD Ryzen and Intel 11th Gen processor flavours. However, the Indian variant could also be based on the older non-Pro Redmi Book series. It could be powered by a 10th Gen Intel processor.

Meanwhile, this RedmiBook will likely also be cheaper than the Mi Notebook. It’s possible that its base variant could start below Rs 50,000. The laptop could also compete with a similar upcoming product by rival brand Realme – the Realme Book.
