Just a few days ago, Redmi confirmed its plan to launch the RedmiBook laptop in India on August 3rd. This will be the first laptop from the brand in the Indian market. Although, the company already has laptops under the Mi band. However, apart from the launch date, we have very little information on the device right now. Now, tipster Yogesh Brar has exclusively shared with 91mobiles the specifications and price in India ahead of the August 3rd launch event.

RedmiBook Leaks
According to the tipster, the upcoming laptop will have a 15.6-inch display with a full-HD resolution. The laptop will come with Intel 11th Gen Core i3 and Core i5 processor options with 8GB of RAM. Moreover, the laptop will use PCIe SSD storage, to be available in two options: 256GB and 512GB. RedmiBook 15 will have dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0.

Meanwhile, we are expecting RedmiBook to come loaded with the Windows 10 operating system. However, the teaser image of the laptop had revealed that it will have a webcam. Now, with this leak, we can confirm that the RedmiBook will feature an HD webcam. There will be two 2W speakers onboard, most probably in a stereo configuration. It will also have the same port selection as the current Mi Notebook laptops. This means it will include USB Type-C 3.1, USB Type-A, USB 2.0, HDMI, and audio jack.

On the other hand, we have no information on the battery capacity of the laptop. Although it is known for sure to have a 65W charger. In terms of pricing, RedmiBook price in India will be under Rs 50,000, claims the tipster. This will come in direct competition with the Acer Swift 3, Asus VivoBook, and Xiaomi’s own Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition. The company has confirmed that the RedmiBook will be available to purchase in the Charcoal Grey colour option.
