Starting from August 4, the Redmi 12 5G and Redmi 12 4G became available for purchase on Amazon India, Flipkart, Mi.com, and retail stores. Xiaomi proudly announces an overwhelming response, having sold a remarkable 300,000 units of the Redmi 12 series on the first day. This achievement reflects a highly favourable customer reception.
The sales of the Redmi 12 duo likely contributed to Xiaomi’s earnings of INR 3 billion (or 300 cores). However, the company did not disclose specific sales figures for the Redmi 12’s 5G and 4G variants. Both phones on Amazon and Flipkart are currently labelled as ‘Coming Soon’. This indicates their unavailability due to being out of stock. A banner featured on Xiaomi’s website hints at a return on August 8, possibly indicating the next sale date for these sought-after smartphones.
