Although the pricing of these devices is currently under wraps, the Cosmic Red variant will most likely cost Rs. 500 more. Meanwhile, the Midnight Black variant will come with the same price tag as the DualSense controller, which is Rs. 5,990.

As per various reports, the upcoming PS5 India restock will come with one and a half or two times more units on offer. The first sale of the console had around 4000 units. This time, expect to see a significantly more units on sale.

The Sony PS5 will be available across all the leading retail stores in India, once in stock. Moreover, one can easily head over to their nearby authorized Sony retails store and get the console if and when available. When it comes to the specifications, the PS5 comes with some major improvements over the PS4. For starters, the PS5 comes with a custom eight-core AMD Zen 2 CPU. Additionally, this CPU is clocked at 3.5GHz (variable frequency) and is paired with a custom GPU.
Moreover, this GPU works on AMD’s RDNA 2 architecture hardware that claims to deliver 10.28 teraflops and 36 compute units clocked at 2.23GHz. Furthermore, the console comes with 16GB of GDDR6 RAM and a custom 825GB SSD. Lastly, the powerful console features a brand new design and comes with DualSense controller and a much simpler UI.

For those who want to know the difference between the two variants, it lies in the presence of disk drives. The PS5 standard edition allows players to run Blu-ray disc games, including PS4 Blu-ray discs, regular Blu-rays and DVDs. On the other hand, the PS5 Digital Edition only allows players to download their entertainment content.
