Poco F5 5G series, the highly anticipated smartphone lineup from Poco, is set to launch globally on May 9, 2023, at 5:30 PM IST. The series includes the Poco F5 5G and the Poco F5 Pro 5G variant. The base variant of the series is most likely to succeed the Poco F4 5G. Moreover, it is set to launch in India on the same day. Ahead of the launch, Poco has been teasing some key specifications and designs of the smartphone and now, the India variant of the Poco F5 5G has been officially confirmed.
According to Himanshu Tandon, Poco India Head, the upcoming Poco F5 5G will be available in Carbon Black and Snowstorm White colourways and sold exclusively through Flipkart. Furthermore, the base variant of the phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage.

POCO F5 5G: Specifications
The Poco F5 5G will feature the new 4nm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 5G chipset. The phone is likely to have an AnTuTu score of nearly a million. The display panel of the handset is to have a 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio and very narrow bezels. Along with a centre-aligned hole-punch slot to house the front camera at the top of the display.
The camera modules at the back of the phone are marked by a turbine-like design. Furthermore, the triple rear camera unit of the Poco F5 5G India variant is to include a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The phone is likely to feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (2400×1080 pixels) AMOLED display. With a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Moreover, the new Snapdragon 7 series SoC will likely come with an Adreno 725 GPU. And the phone could boot Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top.
In addition to the primary rear sensor, the Poco F5 5G is likely to have an 8-megapixel sensor. Along with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens. Additionally, the front camera is to have a 16-megapixel sensor. Lastly, the phone, which is likely to be a rebranded Redmi K60, could pack a 5,000mAh battery unit with 67W fast charging support.
