Nokia has launched its latest Nokia XR20 in India starting with a value of Rs. 46,999 on Monday. The series comes with a military-grade prototype with four years of security updates and 3 years of OS upgrades to withstand the phone’s both hardware and software for the long run. It is the company’s first 5G phone in India with military-grade properties.
The phone will be open for pre-bookings starting October 20 in Granite and Ultra Blue colours and will go on sale starting October 30. It will be available through leading offline retail stores, e-commerce platforms, and Nokia.com.

Nokia XR20 price and availability
Nokia has re-entered the Indian market with the launch of its latest smartphone XR20. The handset comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset and has been priced in the premium segment. Furthermore, the phone will be available at a price of Rs 46,999 for a single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The price is alike across all leading offline retail stores, e-commerce platforms, and Nokia.com.
Sanmeet Singh Kochhar, Vice President, HMD Global, in his statement said: “Indian consumers, are adventurous and outgoing and require high quality, reliable and robust smartphones that can support their fast-paced life and become an extension of their lifestyle. On average, people damage their smartphone within just 10 weeks of purchasing it. So, they have to invest in protective cases, repairs, and warranties that can increase the maintenance cost, leading to early device replacement. The Nokia XR20 has been designed to withstand any accidental drops, splashes, and tumbles of daily usage.“

Also, Nokia gives an advantage to the customers who pre-book the smartphone. Customers can avail gifts for free such as a Nokia Power Earbuds Lite worth ₹3,599 and one year of the screen protection plan.
The Nokia XR20 is the company’s first 5G smartphone in India that runs on Android 11 out of the box. The highlights include a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NavIC, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The handset comprises of dual stereo speaker setup and 2 noise-cancelling microphones. Moreover, the phone has a 4630mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support and 15W wireless charging. It features a MIL-STD810H-certified build that has an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. Alongside, Nokia has included a software feature named SpeedWarp mode that lets you capture multiple events in a montage.
