Nokia has launched the successor to their Nokia G20 from last year. The Nokia G21 has now launched in India. The phone has already launched in global markets. This smartphone also brings quite a few upgrades in terms of hardware specifications. Instead of a round-shaped camera bump on the back, the G21 goes for a rectangular one with rounded edges. HMD promises regular Android updates on the Nokia G21. You will get Android 11 out-of-the-box, but the phone is upgradable to Android 12 and Android 13 in the future. There is no timeline, however, for that yet. The new smartphone will be available in European markets soon, but the company did not say a word about the launch in other markets, such as India. Since Nokia G20 did come to India, the chances of the Nokia G21’s launch in India are decent.

In terms of pricing, Nokia G21 price is €170. It comes in Nordic Blue and Dusk. The handset will soon be on sale in the European markets.

Flaunting a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, the phone comes with a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper. It runs on Android 11 OS out of the box. But the company is promising two major Android updates. Along with this, the smartphone will get three years of security patches.
Under the hood, Nokia G21 is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset paired with the Mali G57 MP1. It also comes with 4GB RAM, and up to 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card.

Optics-wise, the Nokia G21 sports a triple camera setup at the back, with the primary shooter being a 50-megapixel camera. In which there is a macro camera lens of 2 megapixels and another 2 megapixels depth sensor. The camera comes with Night mode too.
Furthermore, the phone packs a powerful 5,050 mAh battery with 18W (USB PD 3.0 compatible) charging support. Users will also get a 10W adapter in the box. HMD also made an essential change in the design of the Nokia G21. Hence made it 5 per cent slimmer, going from 9.2mm to 8.5mm.

Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm jack, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The smartphone will come with Spotify and ExpressVPN pre-installed, with the latter offering a 30-day free trial.
