Motorola is reportedly gearing up for the launch of its upcoming handset, the Motorola Moto Edge 40, as alleged renders of the device have surfaced on the internet. The renders reveal the design and specifications of the device. It is likely to be a toned-down version of the recently launched Motorola Edge 40 Pro.
The renders, shared by known tipster Roland Quandt on Twitter, show the Motorola Moto Edge 40 in four colour options – blue, black, green, and viva magenta. Furthermore, the device is to come with a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout on the display that houses the selfie camera.

Motorola Moto Edge 40: Specifications (Expected)
The smartphone is to feature a triple rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. That comes with Optical Image Stabilisation support and LED flash. Moreover, the device is seen with power and volume buttons on the left spine.
Speculation suggests that the Motorola Edge 40 could feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC. Along with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Additionally, the device is likely to have a 6.55-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Moreover, the Motorola Edge 40 is likely to debut as a more affordable version of the Edge 40 Pro. With its promising specifications and features, the device is sure to attract a lot of attention from smartphone enthusiasts. Motorola has not yet announced an official launch date for the device, but the leaked renders suggest that it could be just around the corner.
