Motorola Berlin 2021 Has Received The Indian BIS Certification, Launch Imminent

The Motorola Berlin 2021 rumored model has now received the Indian BIS certification. This definitely hints at the fact that the model will soon be a reality in India. Moreover, the smartphone along with two other mysterious Motorola smartphones have been in the rumor mill for quite some time now.

Noted tipster Mukul Sharma took to Twitter to reveal that the Motorola Berlin has now appeared in the Indian BIS certification website. Additionally, he went on to say that another Motorola device has appeared alongside it. He also states that this Motorola smartphone is all set to launch in India “pretty soon”.

However, nothing is known about the other Motorola smartphone that has surfaced on the Indian BIS certification site. The Motorola Berlin 2021 and the other mysterious smartphone have appeared with model numbers of XT2139-2 and XT2143-1, respectively.

Besides, previous leaks have also suggested that there will be two regional variants for the Berlin model. While one will be a Verizon/North American variant, the other will be a global variant. Fortunately, the specifications of both these variants have been leaked. Additionally, the smartphone has also appeared in a huge leak in the recent past which has revealed the camera specifications of both the variants.

Motorola Berlin 2021 Specifications (Leaked)

For starters, Global variant of the Motorola Berlin 2021 will feature a 6.67-inches 120Hz display. Additionally, the display will come with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. On the processor front, the smartphone is expected to carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. Now, the NA version of the smartphone will reportedly be powered by the same processor. The smartphone will most likely pack a 4000mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Motorola Berlin 2021 NA variant will come with a 6.78-inches full-HD+ 120Hz display. Additionally, the display will come with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels. Moreover, both the smartphone are expected to come with a centered punch-hole design at the front. Unlike the Global variant, the NA variant is expected to pack a bigger 5000mAh battery.

Camera Setup Leaks

Coming to the camera leaks of the device, both the variants will come with a 32-megapixel OmniVision OV32B40 selfie shooter. Additionally, the vanilla Berlin variant will come with a 108-megapixel S4KHM2 primary sensor. Meanwhile, the Berlin NA variant will come with a 108-megapixel S5KHM2 primary sensor. Moreover, Samsung will supply the company with both the sensors.

Both handsets are supposed to feature 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 selfie cameras, while the main camera on the back will use the 108MP S4KHM2 for the vanilla Berlin and the 108MP S5KHM2 sensor will make its way to the Berlin NA. Both sensors are supplied by Samsung.

Additionally, the vanilla Berlin will use a 16-megapixel OmniVision OV16A10 sensor. This sensor will be paired with an 8-megapixel depth sensor. On the other hand, the Berlin NA variant will come with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor alongside a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
