iQOO fans might have to wait just a bit longer for the next lineup of iQOO devices in India. As we already know, iQOO8 has not yet launched in India owing to chip shortage. Although many were waiting for the series to launch, it looks like it might not launch in India. But there is a fresh leak surfacing online hinting that the iQOO 9 might just launch in India soon. According to this new information, iQOO8‘s successor series might launch in India sometime early in February 2022. However, nothing has come in terms of confirmation yet.

iQOO 9 Rumoured to Launch Soon
According to the information revealed by industry sources to 91Mobiles, at least one of the handset in the new lineup will support 120W fast charging. We can expect the brand to launch two devices in the series. On the other hand, separate news is that iQOO also has confirmed that its next flagship smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. If this is true, the former mentioned phone could be the one featuring it.

Meanwhile, previous leaks have already hinted that the iQOO 9 smartphone exists. According to the IMEI listing, it has the model number of the device as V2171A. The specifications of both the vanilla and the Pro remain under wrap currently. However, one can expect these upcoming handsets to feature an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, triple-camera setup, and a 4,500mAh battery. On the software side of things, we also can expect these phones to run Android 12 out of the box.
