If you use WhatsApp on your phone, both Android and iPhone, your photos will look better. You can send pictures with more quality and clearer details when you chat. And guess what? Even if you use WhatsApp on a computer or the web, you can still send better pictures. People will see a special icon (it’s like a small picture) that shows the picture is better quality.

Improved Video Quality & Mark Zuckerberg’s Insight

New Whatsapp Update

Not just pictures, but soon you can also send better-quality videos using WhatsApp. This means the company is working to make the experience of sharing videos and photos even nicer for all of us.

The big boss of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, told us about this on Facebook. When you send a picture in a chat, you’ll see a new “HD” icon. This shows that the picture is now high quality. It’s a simple way to tell that the picture will look better. Better pictures also need more data to send and use up more space on your phone. But, we don’t know exactly how much data and space it will use. Meta didn’t tell us that part.

WhatApp Will Keep Your Pictures Safe

Don’t worry about your pictures being seen by others. Just like before, all your pictures are safe and can’t be seen by anyone else. Also, if your internet is slow, you can still get the normal version of the picture, so you won’t have problems with slow internet. The new WhatsApp new feature could potentially be accessible in the upcoming updates.

Something Extra: Sharing Your Screen

Whatsapp

WhatsApp now also lets you show your screen during video calls. It’s like showing what’s on your computer or phone with others. It looks like what you see in Google Meet or Zoom. The people you talk to will be on one side, and the screen you’re showing will be on the other side. This makes it easier to work together or show something during a call.
