Google has started developing its second-generation foldable phone, also known as the Google Pixel Fold 2. So, the first alleged Pixel Fold 2 prototype has surfaced online, showing a major redesign. The renders shared by Android Authority show a narrower form factor and a redesigned camera module. This phone is revealed to have three camera sensors arranged in two rows on the top left of the back. Which is different from the horizontal camera visor design of the current model.

What’s the Google Pixel Fold 2 Prototype Claimed?
We all know that Google is working on the second generation Google Pixel Fold 2. There have been many rumours and leaks about the design of the Pixel Fold 2, and the latest information has been a hot topic. Android Authority has exclusively revealed some hands-on images of the upcoming foldable device.

Meanwhile, images of the prototype confirm that the Pixel Fold 2 will be equipped with a narrower cover screen than the original Pixel Fold. This makes the internal display square. This also reduces the space for the camera along the width of the back, resulting in a more conventional design with two lenses on top and two on the bottom, rather than the long single-row block of the original Pixel Fold. A square camera block was adopted.

The Pixel Fold 2 also appears to feature a new camera bump design. It features an independent four-sensor camera island that may include a primary wide-angle lens, a secondary ultra-wide-angle lens, and a tertiary periscopic telephoto lens. However, the function of the fourth sensor is unknown. The camera island also has an LED flash and microphone. This design is very different from recent Pixel smartphones.
There are also rumours that Google may include temperature sensors in its smartphones like the Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. Additionally, the phone is said to have an aluminium frame.
