TCL is preparing to launch another 5G smartphone at the start of next year. This new smartphone with model number T781 is apparently the successor of TCL 10 5G called TCL 20 5G. It comes from a tipster Evan Blass claiming the new smartphone will be coming with this moniker. However, its leaked specifications suggest that it could be a low-mid-range model.

Leaker Evan Blass has shared the first look of the TCL 20 5G (model number T781) on their Voice account. According to him, it will launch sometime early next year. There is, however, no word on its launch date. On the other hand, it could be a low-mid-range model that may just be a follow-up to TCL Plex that was launched at last year’s IFA in Berlin.
TCL 20 5G Specifications (Expected)
It can come with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display. In addition, it has a center-aligned selfie camera cutout and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone reportedly houses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM. Additionally, it will offer 128GB and 256GB storage versions on TCL 20 5G, along with microSD card support for expansion.

In terms of camera, it houses a triple rear camera setup that may include a 48-MP primary sensor, paired with an 8-MP ultra-wide shooter and a 2-MP macro shooter. On the other hand, there is a rumored 8-MP snapper at the front.
The phone is also expected to have a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, you can expect a dedicated Google Assistant button and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone may come with a 4,500mAh battery.
The leaked renders suggest that TCL 20 5G would feature a gradient finish on the back. The phone also appears to have thin bezels and a significant chin below the display.
