BGMI is currently the most popular game in India, which over 16 million daily active users. The game took the mobile gaming community in India by storm last month. BGMI: How To Change Server?
In order to change the server in BGMI, all players need to do is head over to the in-game lobby. From the lobby, players can see a ‘Select Mode’ option which is available right above the list of game modes to choose from. Now, in here, players will come across ‘Matchmaking Settings’. Under the matchmaking settings, players will come across the option to ‘Select Server’. In here, just tap on this option and a bunch of different servers will show up. Select from the available servers and you are good to go!

However, an important thing to note here is that BGMI does not allow players to change their servers as of now. The company has indeed confirmed that this particular feature will roll out soon, in future versions of the game. So, for now, there are no ways to change your server.
BGMI Server Error: How To Fix?
Recently, several BGMI players have been reporting this one particular issue with their servers. The error reads as, “Server is busy, please try again later. Error code: restriction-area.” Now, this particular error has been reportedly widely. So, what causes this error to pop up?

Reasons for the server error are:
- Using PS emulators or similar illegal platforms to play the game.
- Trying to play BGMI from another country.
- Unstable internet connection.
So, how to fix this error? The simple answer is to refrain from using emulators as they give you an unfair advantage against mobile players in the game. Moreover, it is important to understand that BGMI has been made for India and cannot be played from other countries. Lastly, try working towards a better internet connection and it might solve the problem. Look up the telecom network that works best in your area and go for that or opt for a broadband network connection. This allows you to have stable internet throughout.
