Design:
Firstly, we get to see slight modifications in the design of the whole series. It is expected to have a slimmer body and thin bezels. Each model will look appealing, with noticeable differences in shape between the standard/Plus and Ultra models.
We have leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S series which appears to showcase new design and colours. It seems there’s going to be a dark blue variant in S25 and S25 Plus, as well as a silver one. The body colour extends to the camera ring as well. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ege teaser also indicated that it is going to be an ultra-slim phone.
Chipset:
Secondly, expect a unified chipset this time. All three models might exclusively use Qualcomm chips this year. This is due to production challenges with Samsung’s Exynos 2,500 chip that should supposedly power the Standard and the Plus models.
Let’s go through the highlighting features of all three models in this upcoming S- series.

Galaxy AI Enhancements & One UI 7
Galaxy AI is definitely going a notch up with this launch. Especially now that we have Gemini AI integrated into the device that opens with a press on the side button. Here are some noteworthy features to delight users:
- Sketch-to-Image Feature – Samsung has teased AI-powered enhancements for its Sketch-to-Image tool. So with this one, you can draw a rough idea, an object or anything else. The AI will help you visualise it better by generating an image out of it.
- Conversational Galaxy AI for interactive experience – There is seamless AI interaction like asking anything like ‘What is parsley?’ and then ‘Add to my shopping cart’. AI assistant does the work for you. This also indicates that Gemini can perform multiple actions in a single prompt across different apps.
- The One UI 7 in the Samsung Galaxy S series brings a new feature called “Now Bar”. Get live score updates and real-time directions hovering on the screen like Dynamic Island.
- AI Overviews & Circle to SearchThe famous ‘circle-to-search’ has improved the efficiency and accuracy of results. Get quick insights with links when searching landmarks, food, or objects online. Also, with just a tap in Circle to Search, one gets quick access to phone numbers, emails, or URLs.
- Accessibility better than ever: Hands-free calling has become more efficient with LE Audio. There are a few new audio adjustment features for more personalisation. Improvements with braille display compatibility is possible as TalkBack 15 now supports HID braille displays via Bluetooth.
Upgraded Bixby
Next-Generation Bixby – Samsung’s revamped Bixby with advanced AI capabilities was launched in China last year and is now expected to roll out globally with the Galaxy S25 series.
The new Bixby AI will allow smarter AI assistance with abilities like:
- Retrieve information from apps like Calendar & Samsung Internet.
- Understand on-screen context.
- Integrate with apps to get directions, manage schedules, and more.
Will There Be Samsung S25 FE?
There is a different level of fanbase for the S series FE version. It always takes it’s time to launch post the standard S series of the year. So, this time, Samsung is also expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE somewhere around the third Quarter of 2025. Reports say it will also have a slimmer design thanks to a thinner but wider battery. The S25 FE might feature a 6.7-inch display and be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset instead of Samsung’s Exynos processors or the Snapdragon 8 Elite. This release will take forward the legacy of Samsung’s yearly tradition of Fan Edition phones, which skipped the S22 FE in 2022.
