Google Maps Timeline feature keeps track of places, locations, routes a user has visited based on the location history.

The timeline provides a complete insight of all the locations with time and other details.

To use the Google Maps Timeline, you’ll need to turn on Location Services and Location History.

After that open Google Maps app on your device. Tap your profile picture and then Your Timeline. Tap More and then Settings and privacy.

Then go to “Location settings” and turn on location and location history and you are good to go.

To find travel history using Maps, tap on your account profile picture, then click your timeline. Select the day and find insights about places you visited.
