This New Spyware Can Steal Your Banking & Personal Information

SpyNote, a new spyware is making headlines on the web as it can steal banking information, and primarily targets Android phones.  

SpyNote, spreads through infected SMS messages. When users receive these messages, they are prompted to download certain apps through the provided link

This spyware, of course, invades a users’ privacy as well, as it can record phone calls. The recorded files are then sent to the attacker.

Furthermore, the malware can steal user data such as banking passwords and other such sensitive information.

It is in your best interest to keep an eye out for this spyware and to avoid clicking on foreign links sent via SMS and other means.
