OnePlus 9R Long Term Review: Still A Worthy OnePlus Flagship?

DESIGN

The 9R is nearly identical to the OnePlus 9 as far as design is considered. The polished metal frame seamlessly curls into the 3D Corning Gorilla Glass.

DISPLAY

It has a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. It gives a fantastic viewing experience for its price.

PERFORMANCE

The OnePlus 9R comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset which is a bit outdated but still good. Although at this price today you can get much better.

BATTERY LIFE

OnePlus 9R features a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W Warp charging. It gives 6-7 hours of screen-on time which  is reasonably good for any phone.

CAMERA

The OnePlus 9R employs excellent sensors by Sony in its quad-camera set up. Details, dynamic range, and colours, for the most part, are on point.

Verdict

In todays market the OnePlus 9R is not a fair proposition in terms of the phone’s pricing. In this budget you should get the much better OnePlus 11R 5G which has better cameras, display and processor.
