The National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) is an inter-system transport card that allows travellers to pay for travel, toll duties, retail shopping and withdraw money.
The card can function as a travel smart card on several transport systems including metros in all major cities and various buses.
The card falls under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘One Nation One Card’ initiative.
The card is issued in the form of a prepaid, debit RuPay card by 25 banks including State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Paytm Payments Bank and more.
Currently it is accepted in most major transport lines including metros of Delhi (Airport Express), Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kanpur.
It is also accepted in Goa Statewide Bus system and Mumbai City Bus Transit system
