iPhone 15 Pro Max Production 8% Higher Than iPhone 14 Pro Max, Reveals Counterpoint

Apple introduced the iPhone 15 Pro Max at its Far Out launch event in September.

Counterpoint Research's analysis reveals that the BoM cost for the base variant of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is higher than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The primary reasons for the increase are the new A17 Bionic chip and the 5x telephoto camera.

The A17 Bionic chip, the new telephoto camera, and the titanium alloy casing frame contribute significantly to the BoM cost.

The analysis indicates that Apple has strategically balanced cost increases with decreases in component prices, resulting in a profitable venture with the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
