Setting up a secondary WhatsApp account on your phone is easy with most Android smartphones’ “Dual Apps” feature.

However, WhatsApp recently rolled out a multi-account feature where using two accounts is in-built into the app itself.

If your phone supports dual apps then you can go to the settings and enable the dual WhatsApp feature from there only.

Another method is to use WhatsApp’s proprietary multi-account feature. But it is right now only available to beta testers, so if you are one, you can use this feature.

To enable this go to your WhatsApp settings and click on the arrow icon next to your profile picture. Then click on "Add Account"

The app will now take you to the login screen where you’ll have to put in the new number you want to register with WhatsApp.
