GitHub has announced that it is now open to everyone. Customers of the free, team, and GitHub Enterprise Cloud can now access an improved version of the OpenAI's Codex-powered GitHub Copilot for Business.

The first AI developer tool in the world is the GitHub Copilot, which was originally previewed in 2021. The service has a monthly fee of $10, whereas Copilot for Business has a monthly fee of $19 based on the number of Copilot seats.

Copilot's acceptance rate is on the lower end, but it is still increasing significantly. Developers reportedly accepted 27% of ideas on average in June of last year; this number increased to 30% in September and 35% in December.
